Faith Formation for all ages!

Sunday School Children grades preschool to 6th grade are invited to join us for Sunday School on every Sunday. It takes place during the 9:30 service. We start activities at 9:15. Children return to worship with their family after the sermon.

Holy Communion - Some may wonder if their children may commune with us if they have yet to receive instruction for Holy Communion.  The answer is yes, they may join us before they receive instruction, no matter how old they are.  We regularly offer instruction in Holy Communion, so if your child receives communion before instruction, we invite them-- and you-- to join us in learning more about how God's grace is present and active through this meal.  Please contact us if you are interested in Holy Communion instruction for your child(ren).

Families Serving on Sundays - Serving as a family for Sunday Worship is a wonderful way to pass on the faith! We encourage youth to read a Psalm, be a greeter, usher, play special music. be a part of the music team, serve fellowship treats and so much more! Please contact Krista Elvehjem, our volunteer coordinator.

Celebration Singers - Youth Choir/after school program for grades preschool - 6th grade.  We meet on Mondays from 3:15- 4:15 with later pick up available if needed until 5pm. Transportation from school to church will be provided upon request.  We sing once a month at both services during the school year.

Confirmation - Confirmation is offered for 7th - 9th grade, September - May. Programming is based on the "Gifts of Discipleship" which are promises made during the Affirmation of Baptism (confirmation) Regular Confirmation sessions are Wednesdays 6-8pm, with a variety of learning experiences including shared meals, small group mentoring, large group games, group discussion with the pastor and servant events. There a breaks during Advent and Lent that give youth and families opportunities to work on faith building activities in groups and as individuals.

Religious Release Time - Available for grades 1st - 6th.  Offered once a month. First Catechism/First Bible - Our goal is to equip parents as their child(ren) grow to help them fulfill the promises that they made at baptism. To that end, we give 1st graders a "My First Catechism" book and 3rd graders a SPARK Bible during Sunday Worship in the Fall.
