LIVING GRACE LIBRARY

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

The Living Grace Library mission will support all the members of Grace using library resources to help them interpret what they read, hear, see and experience within the context of the Christian Gospel. We continue to offer a book group (new members welcome) resources as requested by other ministries, current fiction, children's and youth books, videos, DVD's, magazines, and nonfiction books.  We welcome new members to our ministry. We meet the 1st Monday of each month at 4:00.

THRIVENT

Thrivent Action Teams is a program for us to use Thrivent Dollars to help in our community in educational, service, and fundraiser projects.  It is designed to help Thrivent members strengthen communities and help others to be wise with money and live generously.  Each member or associate can bring people together for a one-time project to help others.  Identify a need in our community, receive resource and put a plan together to take action.  Thrivent provides $250.00 seed money for approved projects.  This is a great way to work with 'God's Work, Our Hands'.

PROPERTY

Property meet on the First Tuesday of each month at 7pm.  Any and all are welcome to come.

ARCHIVERS

Do you have an interest in preserving the history of our church?  If you would like to help or have photos you would like displayed on the archives computer, future generations will thank you.

STEWARDSHIP

Stewardship has been defined as "everything you do after you say, I believe." A steward is a manager of what has been placed in their hands.  The Stewardship Ministry of Grace Lutheran Church seeks to help members realize the gifts, privileges and responsibility that God has given to people.Stewardship is seen as a joyful response to what God has done in the lives of people.  As the grace and love of Jesus Christ touches our hearts and minds, we are called to use our "talents" as the Parable of the Talents story in Matthew 25 describes.  Stewardship then becomes a responsibility to use our actual talents, our time, and our treasure for the sake of Christ's mission in all aspects of our life.
